I'm Back!

Sono tornata.

Sono stata lontana per qualche mese, ma sono cambiate molte cose e quindi questo tempo per me è molto dilatato, rispetto alla realtà.

A volte tutti abbiamo bisogno di una pausa, che arriva all'improvviso, senza avviso.

Magari tutto scorre in modo tranquillo e poi...tac! Succede e non ti fai più vedere.

Non cambia nulla, poi. Continui a vivere dove vivi, a fare le stesse cose, ma nella tua testa qualcosa scatta e tu migliori.

Migliorano le tue idee, la qualità del tuo stile di vita, il tuo modo di essere.

E poi sei pronto a ripartire da dove avevi lasciato, ma ti senti diverso.

E così eccomi qua con nuove idee e progetti in corso.

I'm back.

I've been away for a few months, but many things have changed and so this time for me is much dilated, compared to reality.

Sometimes we all need a break, which comes suddenly, without warning.

Perhaps everything runs so quiet ... and then “tack”! You may not see me on here anymore.

Then, nothing changes. You continue to live where you live, to do the same things, but something clicks in your head and you improve.

Your ideas improves the quality of your lifestyle, your way of being.

And then you're ready to start from where you had left, but you feel different.

And so here I am with new ideas and projects in progress.

Il 2012 è stato davvero un anno di passaggio e chiarificatore.

Ho fatto molte passeggiate nella natura, mi è mancato questo contatto e ho visto come questo aspetto nella mia vita è stato messo da parte un po’ troppo a lungo.

La scorsa settimana ho partecipato ad un mercatino in Toscana ed è andato molto bene: ho avuto le risposte che cercavo.

Vi lascio qualche fotografia…in attesa di mostrarvi qualche nuova scultura.

Anche se credo che tornerò del tutto operativa solo a settembre…visto che ho ancora un viaggio in sospeso.

2012 was really a year of transition and clarifier.

I did a lot of nature walks, I missed this contact and I have seen how this in my life has been forgotten a bit too long.

Last week I participated in a flea market in Tuscany and it went very well: I had the answers I sought.

Lachera 2012

Last Sunday there was the celebration of Carnival.
As every year we have seen the great show of Lachera dancing through the streets of the village.
Unfortunately it was very cold and the party ended earlier than usual.

La scorsa domenica c'è stata la festa del carnevale.
Come tutti gli anni abbiamo visto il grande spettacolo della Lachera danzare per le vie del paese.

This year Nicola was dressed as Robin Hood, but I have added a scarf. It was too cold!
I love to sew his dress ... even if I always end up working at the last minute :-(

Quest'anno Nicola si è vestito da Robin Hood, ma ho dovuto aggiungere una sciarpa. Era troppo freddo!!!
Adoro cucire il suo vestito...anche se finisco sempre il lavoro all'ultimo momento :-(

My sweet Rapunzel

Today I completed the registration form for Nicola’s kindergarten.
I had to complete also the line where I write my job.
It 's strange.
I had to write "housewife" which is correct and accepted by the society (in a written module).
It 's considered as a work, but it is unpaid.
It would have been right write whatever I do.
And who knows how many people like me!
I should write housewife, oh, yeah ...
And then: mom, artist, photographer, seamstress, friend, chef and… woman!
In short, a whole person.
Housewife sounds a bit reductive.Don’t you think?
Sometimes I feel myself as a sort of Wonder Woman… (who lives her double identity as a secret, of course!)
Fortunately to keep me company ... there is Rapunzel that know something about freedom and limits!

Oggi ho compilato la domanda di iscrizione per l'asilo di Nicola.
Ho dovuto compilare anche la riga in cui scrivere il mio mestiere.
E' strano.
Ho dovuto scrivere “casalinga” che è corretto ed accettato dalla società (in un modulo scritto).
E' considerato un lavoro, ma non è retribuito.
Sarebbe stato giusto scrivere tutto quello che faccio.
E chissà quante persone come me!
Io avrei dovuto scrivere: casalinga, oh, certo...
E poi: mamma, artista, fotografa,sarta,amica,cuoca e... donna!
Insomma una persona a tutto tondo.
Casalinga suona un po' riduttivo.Non pensi?
Qualche volta mi sento come una sorta di Wonder Woman... (che vive la sua doppia identità come un segreto, naturalmente!)
A tenermi compagnia per fortuna c'è Raperonzolo...che di libertà e di limiti...ne sa qualcosa!
Raperonzolo libera!
Liberiamola noi, la nostra creatività, la nostra Raperonzolo nella torre.
Facciamoci conoscere per quello che siamo, per quanto valiamo ovunque e sempre.



My sweet little doll is modeled in airdrying clay, while her dress, hair and all parts are made of paper.
While I created I really have seen her come alive with the magic touch that often I find just admiring the works of other artists.
And much more is under construction.
But it's right to let a little space to all the other jobs I do :-)

La mia dolce bambolina è modellata in pasta sintetica che asciuga all'aria, vestito, capelli e tutti i particolari sono di carta.
Davvero mentre la creavo, l'ho vista animarsi di quel tocco magico che spesso trovo solo ammirando le opere di altri artisti.
E molto altro è in preparazione.
Ma è giusto lasciare un po'di spazio anche a tutti gli altri mestieri che faccio :-)

Wonderful places

Yesterday I wanted to see Portovenere.
I spent my childhood here, at the beach with friends, in the beautiful restaurants overlooking the sea, walking in the cool summer evenings.
It's a really fascinating place, it always manages to amaze me, even though for years it was part of my everyday life.

Ieri mi è venuta voglia di vedere Portovenere.
Ho passato qui la mia adolescenza...al mare con gli amici, nei bellissimi ristoranti sul mare, a fare passeggiate nelle fresche sere estive.
E' un posto davvero affascinante,riesce sempre a meravigliarmi, anche se per anni ha fatto parte della mia quotidianità.
